SUMMARY:
Dr. Martel joined the California Cancer Specialists in August 2005. Dr. Martel received her medical degree from the University of Southern California in 1997. She then completed her internship and residency programs at the Los Angeles County + USCMedical Center. Specializing in hematology and oncology, Dr. Martel completed her fellowship at UC Davis Medical Center, with the title of Chief Fellow from July 2002-June 2003. She also holds a PhD in Physiology, which she earned from the University of Southern California in 1998. Dr. Martel is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in hematology, medical oncology and internal medicine.
